My experience at Summit 21 and the importance of networking in your industry

Living in Asia is a dope experience but sometimes it can get lonely - especially in this entrepreneur life. That's why I planned my visit home around Summit21, so I could get the opportunity to fellowship with dope women doing amazing things. I needed all the black girl magic I could get to help me to continue to push forward with The Glow Up.

I wanted to share my personal experience on the conference and how it reiterated the importance of connection and support with others in my industry.

I'm talking about some of the amazing women I met (Morgan Debaun - Co-founder of Blavity, Danielle Leslie, Founder of #coursefromscratch, Nicaila Matthews Okome - Host of Side Hustle Pro, and Afua Osei - founder of She leads Africa).

I also go into detail about my learnings from each of the sessions I attended, and how I used my time back in the U.S. it to connect with my followers, get some dope photos done, and remind myself why I started this crazy adventure into entrepreneurship in the first place.
